| Sunday Night Worship Village Baptist Church offers two special services on Sunday evenings each month. On the second Sunday night each month, we offer a worship service directed at our younger adults. The music is upbeat and uplifting, focusing mainly on modern praise music followed by an inspiring message from our Assistant Pastor, Dr. Dennis Hooper. On the last Sunday night each month, the service is geared more for our senior adults. At this service, our Senior Adult Choir and Orchestra lead the church in worship with concentration on time-honored hymns and songs of worship, followed by an equally inspiring message from our Assistant Pastor, Dr. Dennis Hooper. Discipleship Classes Village Baptist Church is committed to helping Christians, no matter their maturity, grow in their relationship with Christ. The church accomplishes this through our Sunday School Classes (Small Groups) and discipleship classes. Village Baptist Church offers discipleship classes on Sunday afternoons and Wednesday evening that encourage personal growth and family enrichment. For a current list of classes offered (click here) Children's Choirs We offer choirs for three year olds through sixth graders on Sunday nights from 5:00-6:00 in the Children's Building. Dedicated leaders come prepared to offer small and large group activities for the children. They will learn musical skills as well as Christian values to prepare them to be church musicians who love the Lord and want to praise Him. Activities for Children's Choirs include: � An enrollment party each September to start the year � Christmas program � Open house in February where parents attend choir with their child � Singing in church throughout the year � A special musical in May combining all choirs with drama and solos Please give your child the opportunity to experience the joys of singing and music through the children's choirs at Village. |
