Small Groups @VillageBible
At the heart of Village Bible Church is a vibrant small group ministry. We call them Village Berean Groups or VBG’s as we seek to model the zeal for God’s Word of the Bereans of Acts 17:11 who are reported as passionately searching the Word of God to learn more about Christ. We truly believe that our church functions as the church better when we are meeting regularly and encouraging one another in our faith in King Jesus. Currently we have six small group communities—three that meet on Sunday afternoons, one that meets on Tuesday evenings, and two more VBG’s that are more mobile communities that meet often for lunch and fellowship. We look to start more VBG’s in the future as they are a vital piece of our disciplemaking culture: VillageBibleChurchDisciplemakingCulture. This year our focus is to engage our small group members in dialogue and application of our Core Assurances We Cherish of being a 1) Scripturally-saturated church, 2) a Loving church, 3) a Joyful church, and 4) a church full of Integrity.
