Small Groups @VillageBible
At the heart of Village Bible Church is a vibrant small group ministry. We call them Village Berean Groups or VBG’s as we seek to model the zeal for God’s Word of the Bereans of Acts 17:11 who are reported as passionately searching the Word of God to learn more about Christ. We truly believe that our church functions as the church better when we are meeting regularly and encouraging one another in our faith in King Jesus. Currently we have five small group communities—two that meet on Sunday afternoons, the young adults/collegians that regularly meet on Tuesday evenings during the semester, and two more VBG’s that are more mobile communities that meet often for lunch, fellowship, and ministry.
We look to start more VBG’s in the future as they are a vital piece of our disciplemaking culture: VillageBibleChurchDisciplemakingCulture. Last year our small group focus was to help our VBG members to implement and dialogue about our Core Assurances of cherishing the following values 1) being Scripturally-saturated church, 2) being a Loving church, 3) being a Joyful church, and 4) being a church full of Integrity. Our focus for 2026 is to be educated in evangelism and putting our faith into practice through outreach. Questions about joining a VBG? Awesome!
